Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino is relentless in her pursuit of UFC bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey. Both Cyborg and ‘Rowdy’ have ruled their respective divisions for years, with the Brazilian conquering the featherweight fold and Rousey reigning as the undefeated 135 lbs. champion.

One of the obstacles preventing the women’s super-fight from taking place is the 10 lbs. weight difference, however, Rousey has also cited Justino’s past use of steroids as a cause for concern.

The Invicta featherweight champ tested positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid, in 2011 after blitzing Hiroko Yamanaka in just sixteen seconds. The Chute Boxe Academy fighter was suspended for one year and appears to have cleaned her act up after passing multiple drug tests since her return.

Rousey’s continued mention of steroids has antagonized Cyborg to the point where she’ll be pursuing legal action over Rowdy’s comments. In her latest interview, Justino fired back at Rousey’s steroid allegations and encouraged the Judo ace to make the fight happen for the fans.

“She cannot say anything about my doping,” Cyborg said on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Wednesday morning. “It was 2011. I have passed six tests and the same exams she’s doing, because we’re in the same organization now.

“I don’t think it’s right she can say something she cannot prove.”

“This fight has to happen. If the UFC thinks I don’t deserve this fight, don’t do it for me. Do it for all the fans.

Cyborg teased at a potential 140 lbs. catchweight fight with Miesha Tate in July but since Rousey’s first-round thrashing of Bethe Correia at UFC 190, the UFC have decided to book Tate for a third fight against Rousey for the end of the year.
