The beef between Ronda Rousey and Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ has taken a new turn as Invicta’s featherweight champion could be seeking legal action against ‘Rowdy’. The two have traded verbal barbs for years, with Rousey repeatedly dissing Cyborg over steroids and the Brazilian returning fire with digs at Ronda’s past battle with painkiller addiction.
In a Tweet on Sunday, the women’s 145 lbs. champ threatened to call her lawyer over what she feels is slander from Rousey, after the Judo ace accused her of being ‘pumped full of steroids’.

@rondarousey you can not slander me with lies in the media. My lawyer will call @Primetime360ESM

Rousey’s repeated steroid accusations stem from Justino’s one year suspension in 2011. The former Strikeforce featherweight champion tested positive stanozolol, an anabolic steroid, after her sixteen-second KO over Hiroko Yamanaka.
As seen in the above tweets, Cyborg has cited her clean drug tests since the suspension to clear her name of any further steroid allegations, however, due to her previous offense, it’s unlikely that Rousey will face any legal punishment for her comments.
