UFC legend Dan Henderson tweeted his next opponent last night. He’ll be facing Vitor Belfort for the third time as the headliner of a November UFC Fight in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Geez, I didn’t realize how impatient mma fans are for their news. I’m fighting Vitor on Nov 7th in Sao Paulo.
— Dan Henderson (@danhendo) August 2, 2015This will be the rubber match in a trilogy between the two fighters. Henderson took a decision win over Belfort in Pride in 2006. Belfort avenged the loss with a first round KO two years ago in a UFC event in Brazil.
Henderson is coming in off a KO win over Tim Boetsch. Belfort lost his last bout against UFC middleweight champ Chris Weidman.
The bout was originally reported by Brazil’s Combate.
The two men are legends of the sport with Belfort a former UFC light heavyweight champ and Henderson a former UFC tournament winner as well as the only man ever to hold Pride Fighting Championship titles simultaneously in two weight classes.
