In this sixth episode of UFC 189 Embedded, we can watch Robbie Lawler, Rory MacDonald and of course, Conor McGregor doing some light training only a few days away from their big title fights this Saturday at UFC 189.
Chad Mendes, obviously a passionate hunter, uses his time with the Embedded video crew to show the viewers around in his “wall of fame” chamber, a room full of stuffed hunting trophies. He then promises that one spot on this wall is reserved for McGregor’s head.
“There are some similarities between hunting and fighting. You gotta have the focus, you gotta get in that zone. It’s that time to get in there and whip someones ass,” he smiles. “I’m gonna put Conors head up here somewhere after this fight. I’m thinking right up above that window is gonna look pretty damn good.”
Mendes and McGregor will square off and fight for the interim featherweight title this Saturday in the main event of UFC 189 in Las Vegas, NV.
