Friday, June 5, Bloody Elbow presents live fight coverage of Glory 22. Glory 22 is headlined by Rico Verhoeven vs. Benjamin Adegbuyi for the Heavyweight title and airs live on Spike this Friday, June 5 with a special afternoon fight time of 4:00 p.m. ET. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here.
After a somewhat ho-hum show in Glory 21, the company comes out swinging with an absolutely stacked event here. The big fight at Glory 22 sees Glory Heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven look to make his second defense of the title as he faces the powerful and fierce Benjamin Adegbuyi. That fight alone makes this a show worth watching, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Also included is the best tournament in quite some time, as former Lightweight champion Davit Kiria takes on Sittichai Sitsongpeenong, while rising prospect Josh Jauncey faces Crice Boussoukou. Rounding out the Spike card is the entertaining and fascinating KO machine Zack Mwekassa. He takes on Carlos Brooks.
Also of big note here is the start time. Glory 22 will air on Spike at 4:00 pm. The show is in Lille, France, and for the first time, Spike has opted to air one of the international market shows live in the afternoon instead of on tape delay. As a fan, that’s great news – will be very interesting to see what it means for business and ratings.
Join us here at Bloody Elbow for Glory 22 results, discussion, and live fight coverage this Friday, June 5.
