UFC fight bookings roundup – 5/19– 5/26/15

Since the UFC has decided to produce 50+ events in 2015, there is a remarkable amount of fighter signings and new match-ups being set up throughout any given week. Many of these new signings are for match-ups that take place on the undercard, or on the Fight Pass portion of a PPV, so we are going to continue with a new weekly (or bi-weekly if needed) series of articles where we take a brief look at each and every bout booked by the promotion in one place.

TUF 21 Finale

The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale, which is quickly approaching its event date in Las Vegas, recently had three fights added to the line-up. The three aforementioned fight were: Josh Samman vs. Caio Magalhaes, Trevor Smith vs. Dan Miller, and Russell Doane vs. Jerrod Sanders.

UFC Fight Night: Glasgow

A fight between Michael Bisping vs. Thales Leites will headline the UFC’s inaugural stop in Glasgow, Scotland, but the eventalso recently got a handful of matches added to the line-up. These fights include: Paddy Holohan vs. Vaughan Lee, Ross Pearson vs. Evan Dunham, and Joanne Calderwood vs Bec Rawlings.

UFC 189

A flyweight bout between Neil Seery and Louis Smolka is the latest to be announced for the highly anticipated UFC 189 PPV event in July.

UFC 190

The UFC’s latest PPV event in Brazil will feature an intriguing light-heavyweight contest between Patrick Cummins and Rafael Cavalcante.
