Shortly after Daniel Cormier defeated Anthony Johnson to claim the UFC light heavyweight title, Ryan Bader started taunting him on twitter and calling him out. Things carried over on the UFC 187 post-fight press conference where the two fighters got heated and had to be separated by the UFC staff.
Bader was Cormier’s original opponent before he stepped in to face Johnson, and he kept talking about how DC didn’t want to fight him.
“I asked them to fight you!” Cormier shouted as Bader was coming towards him. “I just wanted an easy paycheck! I asked to fight you multiple times! I said I wanted the easiest fight in the division, and I want Ryan Bader!”
“Just give me my paycheck right now,” Cormier said as security was escorting Bader out of the press conference. “Get the f*ck out, this is my press conference!”
