We’re just about 48 hours away from UFC 187 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, site of the UFC’s annual Memorial Day weekend pay-per-view. Today the top 12 fighters on this Saturday’s show participated in the media day festivities inside MGM Grand studios. The event, which was free to the public, concluded with the traditional pre-fight staredowns. UFC president Dana White presided over the staredowns for the following main card bouts: Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson, Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort, Donald Cerrone vs. John Makdessi, and Joseph Benavidez. Additionally, the leading preliminary card bout between flyweight contenders John Dodson and Zach Makovsky led off the staredowns.
