The UFC’s first trip to the Philippines is in the book, and generally the card seemed like it went pretty damn well. Mark Munoz got the big send off that many (myself included) didn’t think he’d be able to get, with a win over Luke Barnatt. Hyun Gyu Lim and Neil Magny put on a hell of scrap to get Magny’s 7th consecutive UFC victory, and Frankie Edgar proved, pretty definitively that he’s got more tread on the tires than Urijah Faber right now. And that doesn’t even get to Gegard Mousasi smothering Costas Philippou… okay maybe that wasn’t exactly a highlight.

Still, there were a lot of great undercard performances and a bunch of meaningful main card fights to leave fans plenty talk about. Fighters too, and they were on Twitter to chat about UFC Fight Night Manila, as it happened.
