Once the compensation terms for the Reebook deal came to light on Wednesday afternoon, several fighters expressed their financial concerns on social media. Yet one fighter in particular, Myles Jury, took to twitter last week to post a picture of several pairs of Reebok shoes in the trash, along with a caption explaining why he stuffed them there.

Without naming Reebok, Jury wrote, “Take advantage of people & no morals/values? YOU’RE TRASH. Much love to the genuine people out there like @DeeZeeMfg.”

According to UFC President Dana White, Jury, who is scheduled to meet former champion Anthony Pettis at UFC on FOX 16, was actually in negotiations with Reebok before the UFC deal came into effect. White revealed during a media conference call that he plans to “make it right” between the two parties.

“Before we did the deal with Reebok, [Jury] was talking to Reebok,” White said. “We are going to make it right. We gotta fix it. So we’re going to get together with Reebok, we’re going to get together with Myles and we’re going to fix it. But yeah, he can’t go out trashing Reebok, but he did have a personal falling out with them. It did happen. I’m going to have to manage it and fix it.”
