Donald Cerrone and Khabib Nurmagomedov continue to engage in Twitter warfare as the two lightweights lob insults at each other from the comfort of their computer screens. Cerrone is the latest fighter to stoke the fire for their anticipated clash at UFC 187 by mocking the Dagestani by wearing a humorous bear-beater t-shirt. ‘Cowboy’ (or the drunk fake cowboy) was seen pictured wearing the t-shirt at a recent training session, Nurmagomedov was quick to respond:

To put Donald’s t-shirt into context – two years ago a video surfaced on the internet showcasing footage of a nine-year-old boy wrestling with a bear. To the delight of MMA fans, Nurmagomedov confirmed that it was, in fact, his younger-self grappling with his grizzly Russian friend:
With over a month left until fight night at UFC 187 on May 23, we’re sure to see the two 155lb rivals continue to snipe at each other through social media. Let’s hope their clash in the Octagon matches the war of words exhibited outside of the cage.
