We are now less than one month away from the Fight of the Century, and the hype is reaching full steam. Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao takes place May 2, live on PPV in what is sure to be the biggest boxing fight (and combat sports event) in years. This week, as part of that pre-show hype, both Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao host live media workouts. These workouts will be available via live stream. Mayweather is live from Las Vegas today at 7:00 p.m. ET, and the live stream is available right here. Check back tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. ET for the Pacquiao workout.
Though it’s puely a promotional move, today’s Mayweather workout will be interesting to see. That’s because Floyd Mayweather is a consummate showman, always doing what he can to hype the fight. At the same time, he is typically reluctant to have any of his sparring sessions filmed, so we’ll have to see what he brings to the table for this event.
