It’s the fifth episode of UFC 189 World Championship Tour Embedded and Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor hit Los Angeles. The shows begins with both fighters and Dana White handling their media obligations in several L.A. radio stations, where the UFC president announces T.J. Dillashaw’s rib injury live on air. Later he is giving Renan Barao’s head coach Andre Pederneiras a call to inform him that the title fight against Dillashaw is off, but promises him to get “this second fight made really quick”.
Shortly after you can see how the now infamous incident happened, where McGregor stole Aldo’s belt. Aldo just got off the phone with Brazilian soccer superstar Thiago Silva, whom he told that he is “going to kill that m**********r and cut his head off”, only to see that his belt has been stolen.
During the Fight Words broadcast on Fox Sports 1, both men are exchanging words and McGregor suggests that he is Aldo’s “Daddy”. Afterwards, Aldo’s Muay Thai coach Alex Chadud feels that they are getting in McGregor’s head, but it completely looks the other way around, to be honest.
The funny part this time: When McGregor is being told by the captain that his and Aldo’s private jets are flying close behind each other, he let’s the crew deliver a message via radio: “Tell him I’m coming for him!”
