Pinoy Pride 30: D-Day ‘Donnie and Donaire’ happens this Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines. Seen above is footage from one of the final training sessions of the headliner in Donnie Nietes and his ALA Boxing Gym teammates in AJ Banal and Albert Pagara.

Former ‘Fighter of the Year’ winner Nonito Donaire will also be on the card as he tries to jump start his career back at 122 lbs.

Nietes (34-1-4) holds top billing as he looks to defend his WBO World Light Flyweight title against Mexican challenger Gilberto “Parrita” Parra. Considered as the lineal champ at 108 lbs, ‘Ahas’ will also be trying to extend his stay as the longest reigning boxing champ in Philippine boxing history; An impressive feat considering the multitude of Filipino greats such as Gabriel ‘Flash’ Elorde, Manny Pacquiao, and others who have made their mark inside the ring throughout the years.
