Video: Watch Dana White’s reaction to Brock Lesnar’s decision to re-sign with WWE

He loves us. He loves us not. Just as the UFC picked the last petal from the flower and let it fall to the floor with hope (and a super lucrative offer to come back to fighting), Brock Lesnar finally made his choice between pro-wrestling and mixed martial arts, choosing the entertainer’s path rather than the athlete’s, thus demonstrating that maybe he never really loved us at all.

That’s okay, though. Those of us that still watch pro-wrestling will be able to catch the 300+ pound superbeast entertain the masses for some time to come, as Lesnar officially retired from MMA and signed another big money contract with the WWE. UFC president, Dana White had nothing but praise and kind words for the former heavyweight champion, stating in a brief interview with FOX Sports that Lesnar had always been a fun, stand up guy.

“I’m happy for him — he was always a stand up guy. I knew this three hours ago, he called us and let us know. From what I understand, Vince [McMahon] made him an offer he couldn’t refuse, which is awesome. I’m happy to hear that, happy for both of them. This is a sport where you have to be all in, like Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo. Brock had a really good stint here, did some amazing things, and it was fun to have him.”

Who knows, maybe CM Punk will turn out to be a bigger star than Lesnar ever was for the UFC. In any event, if you’re looking to get your Brock Lesnar fix, you don’t have long to wait, as his next appearance will be at Wrestlemania 31, this Sunday night (March, 29, 2015).
