Roy Jones Jr. might be 46 years old, but that’s not stopping him from continuing to step into the boxing ring. The former four-division champion had taken his act on the road of late, fighting his last four bouts in Eastern Europe. Last night though, he returned to the United States for his first bout on home soil in over three years and got the job done early, knocking out over-matched opponent Willie Williams (14-9-2) in the second round of their bout in Concord, NC.

Jones Jr. (60-8) has now won six bouts in a row, the last three coming by KO/TKO. He’s not going to be challenging for any major titles ever again, but a continuing string of wins might earn him one more bout against a name. Maybe. Or maybe not.
