UFC 185 is approaching, and Zuffa has released video of the inaugural UFC women’s strawweight championship bout between Carla Esparza and Rose Namajunas. The pair faced off at the finals of TUF 20, with the former Invicta champion in Esparza claiming gold with the UFC as well.
The former Invicta FC strawweight champion, Carla Esparza has widely been considered to be the top 115-pound fighter in the world, and she didn’t disappoint on The Ultimate Fighter 20, defeating Angela Hill, Tecia Torres, and Jessica Penne to earn a spot in the finals tonight against Rose Namajunas.

Esparza will defend her title for the first time against Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 185 which will feature two championship bouts. Headlining the card is a lightweight title bout between Anthony Pettis and Rafael Dos Anjos.
