Saturday March 7, Bloody Elbow presents fight coverage of the debut of Premier Boxing Champions live on primetime television. PBC Thurman vs. Guerrero airs live on NBC this Saturday, March 7 with a fight time of 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here.
Honestly, it would be hard for me to oversell the rising level of excitement over this event. For starters, there’s the obvious – this is the return of boxing to primetime, mainstream television, with boxing airing live on NBC in the heart of programming on a Saturday night. That alone is huge. Even bigger is that it is a great card, with two fights that both have the potential to be wild, action packed showstoppers. The man behind PBC is Al Haymon – a manager who has taken a tremendous amount of flak, and well deserved, in the past year. But now, he has put together a card that is competitive and crowd pleasing and he’s managed to get it on free TV. If you can find something to complain about here, you’re too negative.

Opening the night will be Adrien Broner vs. John Molina, Jr. Love him or hate him, Broner is a dynamic fighter who brings excitement to his fights. For his part, Molina was in one of the best fights of 2014 – a crazy war with Lucas Matthysse that you have to see. In the main event, red hot rising talent Keith Thurman finally gets a serious test as he goes up against Robert Guerrero – another 2014 possible FOTY participant. We’ll have more details on both fights in our upcoming previews.
