UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defended her title against Cat Zingano in 14 seconds flat and was handed a mandatory seven-day medical suspension for her efforts. The suspension is the absolute minimum that a fighter can be dealt following a combat sporting event, and more than enough relaxation time for the champion.

On the other side of the spectrum is Raquel Pennington, who was suspended for six-months and required x-rays on both of her hands before she would be cleared for competition. Six other fighters who received the same suspension length joined her.
