UFC 184: Ronda Rousey’s fight purse smaller than Jake Ellenberger’s

Saturday night’s UFC 184 event may not have been the promotion’s most impressive PPV following the slew of injuries and fight cancellations that plagued it, but it still proved to be a lucrative event for several of the fighters involved.

While the event’s crowning jewel was women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, she did not top the disclosed payroll according to the figures released.  It was actually Jake Ellenberger, who snapped a three-fight losing streak to pocket $136,000 – $6,000 higher than the champion headlining the event.
