The next big pay-per-view for the UFC is on May 23rd in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand, and if injuries (or failed drug tests) don’t destroy the main card, this is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever PPV offerings by the promotion. In the main event is a light heavyweight championship bout between Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson, while middleweight champion Chris Weidman aims to defend his belt versus Vitor Belfort. A lightweight title shot is also on the line when Donald Cerrone meets Khabib Nurmagomedov, and the winner of John Dodson/Zach Makovsky could get a flyweight title shot.
There are plenty of great match-ups to look forward to, so cross your fingers that this card stays the same (especially for the PPV portion). The bout order isn’t set yet and there are 1-2 more fights to be added soon, but here’s what UFC 187 has right now:
Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson
Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort
Donald Cerrone vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov
Andrei Arlovski vs. Travis Browne
Joseph Benavidez vs. John Moraga
John Dodson vs. Zach Makovsky
Justin Scoggins vs. Josh Sampo
Rose Namajunas vs. Nina Ansaroff
Sean Spencer vs. Mike Pyle
Islam Makhachev vs. Leo Kuntz
