UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell recently appeared on FOX News’ Sports Court with Tamara Holder to talk about the sports recent performance enhancing drug pandemic. However, it seemed “The Iceman” was ill prepared for Holder’s tough line of questioning and often seemed out of his depth. Watch above as Holder grills the former champion relentlessly on the recent drug test failures from Anderson Silva, Hector Lombard and Nick Diaz.
Chuck Liddell will go down in history as one of the most universally popular fighters to ever step into the Octagon. After a storied career which included a bitter rivalry with Tito Ortiz, a stint in PRIDE, and winning the UFC light heavyweight championship, “The Iceman” retired in 2010 and became the UFC’s Vice President for Business Development.
Given Liddell’s wealth of experience in the industry, it is easy to presume that he would be very knowledgeable about performance enhancing drugs, but if this recent interview with Fox News (in which he thought Anderson Silva’s pre-fight drug test failure was post-fight) is anything to go by, Liddell has a lot to learn.
