We’ve seen Ronda Rousey training with Nick Diaz, Gilbert Melendez, and Gegard Mousasi, but now she’s stepping onto the mats against a former UFC champ, in B.J. Penn. She and Penn recently rolled at the Art of Jiu Jitsu Academy in Orange County, California. Roots of Fight was on hand to record their grappling battle. It’s a pretty cool video of two of the sport’s most notable grappling talents facing off on the mats. Ronda even hit a pretty nifty sweep in there.

Rousey is currently getting ready to take on Cat Zingano in defense of her women’s bantamweight UFC title. The two women will face off as the main event of UFC 184, on February 28th in Los Angeles, California. If this video (and Ronda’s already dominant history) is anything to judge by she’ll be more than ready to dominate Zingano on the ground.
