A much-anticipated UFC 183 flyweight bout between two top contenders was the marquee bout in the middle of the UFC 183 preliminary card. Before that, a battle of middleweights took place. Check out the results below.

Rafael Natal defeated Tom Watson by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26)

As Joe Rogan pointed out many times during the fight, Watson was perpetually just out of range and it led to a one-sided bout. Natal lit him up with jabs and kicks, and managed a gaggle of takedowns in every round. Watson had a couple of moments where he was able to connect with hard shots, but he was just outclassed by a more well-rounded fighter. The bout was never close to being finished, but it was a quality performance from Natal. He moves to 5-3 in the UFC, while Watson drops to 2-4.

John Lineker defeated Ian McCall by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Lineker missed weight by four pounds for the bout but it didn’t seem to have any effect on him in the fight. McCall clearly took the first round with a takedown and doing enough to stay out of the way of Lineker’s power. The second round saw Lineker find his timing, which led to him blasting Uncle Creepy early. He almost caught McCall in a guillotine attempt, and clearly took the second. It all came down to the fight round, and it was Lineker who took with with power punching. He cut McCall open, and even mocked him by rubbing his belly. Lineker improved to 7-2 in the UFC (with four weight missed). McCall’s UFC record dropped to 2-3-1.
