The 2015 World MMA Awards was held at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, and among the big winners on the event are Robbie Lawler, Ronda Rousey, and Kelvin Gastelum.

For the media related awards, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani won his 5th straight ‘Journalist of the year’ award, edging out the four other nominees who interestingly enough all happened to be current or former SBN writers themselves.

As for Bloody Elbow, we received our first nomination for ‘Media Source of the Year’ but was unsurprisingly beat out of the category. BE regular Ben Saunders though, did win ‘Submission of the Year’ for locking up the first omoplata in UFC history. Check out the full results below:
