Tyson is of course no stranger to kickboxing. In 2003 he faced off with Bob Sapp at a K-1 event in Las Vegas and was in talks to sign with the organization to fight the behemoth former NFL player.
There were also talks for a fight with Mirko ‘CroCop’ Filipovic. The Croatian is currently part of GLORY’s heavyweight division but there are, sadly, no plans for Tyson to come out of retirement and make that fight happen.
GLORY 19 takes place Friday, February 6 at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia, USA and is headlined by a World Heavyweight Championship fight between defending champion Rico Verhoeven and his rival Errol ‘The Bonecrusher’ Zimmerman.
