
World Series of Fighting returns to Las Vegas, Nevada for a welterweight showcase main event. Ex-Strikeforce middleweight champion and former UFC welterweight title challenger Jake Shields aims for a 2-0 start to his WSOF career, as he goes up against promotional newcomer Brian Foster, formerly of Titan FC and the UFC. The winner is likely to fight Rousimar Palhares for the welterweight belt.
In the co-main event, Joe Condon steps up for the injured Brian Cobb to take on undefeated Johnny Nunez. Adam Cella, noted for having his head nearly torn off by Uriah Hall on TUF 17, makes his WSOF debut against Danny Davis Jr. to open up the main card.
