Through three rounds Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier had fought a very close fight.
Jones came out to start round four landing a a good body kick and then a big takedown moments later. Cormier stood and Jones took him right back down. Cormier got back up again but the fight feels like it’s sliding away from him a little bit now. Jones is leaning on him against the cage in the clinch, landing some knees to the body.
Cormier is starting to look pretty tired here and Jones is taking over and landing some shots against the cage.
Jones with a side kick to Cormier’s knee and Cormier finally slides out from having his back against the cage. Leg kick by Cormier and Jones times a clinch to nullify the striking of Cormier. Knee to the body by Jones.
Jones puts Cormier right back on the cage but Cormier turns him with 20 seconds left.
That’s a 10-9 Jones round and I’ve got him up 39-37.
