BE’s Baddest Greatest Striker Tournament: #2 Mirko Cro Cop vs. #7 Edson Barboza
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Well that was not the close battle I expected. In a battle of 4 vs 5 seeds, #4 Carlos Condit easily ran away with things, dominating Gegard Mousasi. A special kudos to the many great comments from this discussion. As one commentator said, this ended up being one of those 30-27, 30-27, 30-27 fights that was still a close, back and forth battle. It’s just that one man clearly ended up winning every one of those exchanges. Truth. Condit now advances to the next round to face the winner of Jose Aldo vs. Maurice Smith.

Today, it’s one of the big names coming out of this past weekend, newly top 10 fighter Edson Barboza in action. He’s the #7 seed here, and once again, he will look to score the upset win. Standing in his way? The formidable challenge of #2 seed Mirko Cro Cop. Will Cro Cop fall victim to Barboza’s attacks like Bobby Green before him? Your call.
