Rampage Jackson: ‘I’ve learned a big lesson in life…stay with the devil you know UFC’

Two years and three fights into his Bellator contract and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is distinctly unhappy with his new home. Of course any fan of the former Pride FC star and UFC Light Heavyweight champ knows he tends to complain about his employers, whether it’s Dana White or the producers of the A-Team.

Here’s what Rampage tweeted:

After a brief honeymoon in the fall of 2013, Jackson started complaining seriously about Bellator in July, telling our own Fight Nerd that Bellator didn’t live up to its obligations to pay for his knee surgery (see video above).

Whether or not the UFC would be interested in re-signing Jackson is an open question, especially after he repeatedly put them on blast.

It seems that the regime change from Bjorn Rebney to Scott Coker at Viacom’s fight promotion hasn’t cooled Rampage down.  This is a dramatic contrast with Jackson’s rival Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal who has gone on the record praising Coker and the new Bellator.

No word on when Rampage will fight again. Stay tuned to Bloody Elbow for updates.
