And a show is born! Grant, Wyman, and I have been kicking around the idea of doing a more sports focused MMA show for a little while now. This isn’t the inaugural episode, that ended up being last week, when Pat and I sat down to talk about busts and why they happen. This week, we’re joined by the leader of our current scouting efforts, T.P. Grant for what promises to be a fairly regular thing around here. The main focus is always going to be on up and coming guys, but we may diverge into talking about other MMA related sports topics, like why exactly Russians are doing so well right now, what camps seem to be developing the best new talent, maybe even the occasional look at matchmaking and upcoming fights.

There’s some small amount of controversy over the show’s name. Grant and Wyman both want to call it “The MMA Prospectus.” I prefer “The MMA Triple Slash Line.” I’ll set up a poll below, and you valiant readers can decide which one you like more. Then we’ll go with “The MMA Triple Slash Line,” because I’ll be damned if I’m going to be told anything…

Anyway, as always if you like this sort of thing, subscribe to MMANATIONDOTCOM over on YouTube, where you can watch this video, if our Ooyala player isn’t working for you. And, of course, don’t forget to check out the first entry in our current 2015 Bloody Elbow Scouting Report, focusing on the welterweight division.
