Mayweather vs Maidana 2: Watch full fight video online of Mayweather vs. Maidana I

Saturday September 13, Bloody Elbow presents live fight coverage of Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana II. Showtime Boxing’s Mayhem: Mayweather vs. Maidana II airs live on Showtime PPV this Saturday, September 13. The show has a fight time of 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here.

This weekend’s Mayweather vs. Maidana fight is a rare beast in boxing – a Floyd Mayweather rematch. This marks only the second time in his soon to be 47 fight career that Mayweather has taken a rematch (the last was against Jose Luis Castillo back in 2002 – Mayweather won that rematch via decision). Yet there’s no question Maidana earned this second crack at the king thanks to his supremely impressive performance in May when they first fought. That first fight ended in a majority decision win for Mayweather with scores of 116-112, 117-111 (which is ridiculous), and 114-114. Most analysts agreed that Mayweather won the fight, but by a narrow margin. Now, Maidana will look to better that performance and close the show.

To get ready for the rematch, here is a look back at the first encounter from May 3 of this year. Maidana was coming in off a fantastic win over Adrien Broner, while Mayweather had soundly defeated Canelo Alvarez last time out. Most were predicting another routine Mayweather defense, but it did not go that way.
