Saturday September 13, Bloody Elbow presents live fight coverage of Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana II. Showtime Boxing’s Mayhem: Mayweather vs. Maidana II airs live on Showtime PPV this Saturday, September 13. The show has a fight time of 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here.

In the lead up to the massive Mayweather vs. Maidana rematch, the two main event fighters took part in the final press conference on Wednesday afternoon. Most of the talk was your relatively typical pre-fight hype, with Mayweather somewhat atypically respectful towards Maidana.

In talking about his desired outcome for the fight, Mayweather had this to say:

“I need a knockout and I’m going for it. I need it to make a statement. First for myself, I want to do it for me.”

The undefeated Mayweather comes in to this fight with a record of 46-0. Of those 46 wins, 26 come via KO, giving Mayweather a KO ratio of 57%. His last KO win came against Victor Ortiz in 2011. Since 2005, his only KO wins are against Ortiz and Ricky Hatton in 2007.
