As of yesterday, UFC 177 was left without its original co-main event after Demetrious Johnson vs. Chris Cariaso was moved to the main event of UFC 178. The August 30th PPV in Sacramento, CA will now be co-headlined by a lightweight bout between Danny Castillo and Tony Ferguson. Elevated to the main card from the prelims are heavyweights Ruslan Magomedov and Richard Odoms. The rest of the main card involves Bethe Correia nad Shayna Baszler, along with lightweights Carlos Diego Ferreira and Ramsey Nijem. Of the 20 fighters on the card right now, only Dillashaw, Barao, Correia, and prelim fighter Scott Jorgensen are ranked. Not to disrespect the fighters competing on this show, but it’s an extremely weak PPV lineup.

This is what the new bout order looks like, and I stress once again, this is a PPV card. It might be a canceled card if T.J. Dillashaw or Renan Barao is injured within the next two weeks, but for now it’s still definitely a UFC PPV event.

Main Card (PPV)

T.J. Dillashaw vs. Renan Barao
Danny Castillo vs. Tony Ferguson
Bethe Correia vs. Shayna Baszler
Ruslan Magomedov vs. Richard Odoms
Carlos Diego Ferreira vs. Ramsey Nijem

Preliminary Card (Fox Sports 1)

Lorenz Larkin vs. Derek Brunson
Scott Jorgensen vs. Henry Cejudo
Yancy Medeiros vs. Justin Edwards
Ruan Potts vs. Anthony Hamilton

Preliminary Card (Fight Pass)

Joe Soto vs. Anthony Birchak
