World Series of Fighting 12 was not an entertaining event, to put it mildly.

After two finishes on the undercard, the main card settled into a string of decisions in fights that seemed to take forever.

Then, Luis Palomino stepped into the cage.

Palomino squared off with Lewis Gonzalez in a lightweight main event. He came out blazing early on and landed a flurry that opened up a cut on the top of Gonzalez’s head. A few minutes later, Palomino finished yet another brutal flurry that left Gonzalez out cold.

The finishing flurry saw Palomino throw a head kick, landing with the knee to Gonzalez’s cranium, and two punches on the ground which ended the bout.

Palomino puts himself in position to take on Justin Gaethje for the WSOF lightweight title with the victory.
