Since the UFC has decided to produce 50+ events in 2014, there is a remarkable amount of fighter signings and new match-ups being set up throughout any given week. Many of these new signings are for match-ups that take place on the undercard, or on the Fight Pass portion of a PPV, so we are going to continue with a new weekly (or bi-weekly if needed) series of articles where we take a brief look at each and every bout booked by the promotion in one place.

UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Le

Two fights have been added to the preliminary portion of the fight card, as Milana Dudieva and Elizabeth Phillips meet in a women’s bantamweight bout, while Roland Delorme and Yuta Sasaki also take part in the bantamweight division.

UFC 177

Heavyweights Ruslan Magomedov and Richard Odoms are the latest addition to the August 30 fight card in Sacramento, California. The contest will take part on the preliminary portion of the fight card.

UFC Fight Night: Brasilia

According to Globo, a featherweight contest has been added to the UFC’s Fight Night card in the Brazilian capital city of Brasilia, as Godofredo Castro vs. Dashon Johnson is now scheduled to take place on the September 13 show.

UFC Fight Night: Stockholm

A pair of featherweight contests have been added to the UFC’s return to Stockholm, Sweden in October. The first a compelling clash between Dennis Siver and Robert Whiteford, while the second is between undefeated Swede Niklas Backstrom and Mike Wilkinson.
