Three of the UFCs most notably headliners may be sidelined for the next six months following UFC 175. The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the official medical suspensions for last weekends PPV event and the numbers aren’t pretty. All in all, 13 fighters are under some form of no-contact suspension for a minimum of a month, with 9 fighters potentially out all the way until 2015, including Urijah Faber, Chris Weidman, and Ronda Rousey. Here’s the complete list.
UFC 175 Medical Suspensions
- Chris Weidman – Suspended until Jan. 2, 2015 pending x-rays on left jaw, right elbow, right ribs, and right ankle. Minimum suspension until Aug. 20 with no contact until Aug. 5.
- Lyoto Machida – Suspended until Sep. 4, with no contact until Aug 20.
- Ronda Rousey – Suspended until Jan. 2, pending x-ray on right hand.
- Alexis Davis – Suspended until Jul. 27 with no contact until July 20.
- Uriah Hall – Suspended until Jan. 2, pending doctors clearance for second right toe. Minimum suspension Sep. 4 with no contact until Aug 20.
- Russell Doane – Suspended until Jan 2, pending x-ray on right thumb. Minimum suspension Jul 27 with no contact until Jul 20.
- Urijah Faber – Suspended until Jan. 2, pending x-ray on left rib.
- Kenny Robertson – Suspended unitl Jan. 2, pending examination of right elbow.
- Bruno Santos – Suspended until Jan. 2, pending examination for nasal fracture. Minimum suspension Jul. 27 with no contact until Jul. 20.
- George Roop – Suspended until Aug. 20, with no contact until Aug. 5.
- Luke Zachrich – Suspended until Jan. 2, pending x-ray on left hand. Minimum suspension Aug. 20 with no contact until Aug. 5 due to cut over right eye.
- Kevin Casey – Suspended until Jan. 2, pending examination on left elbow.
- Bubba Bush – Suspended until Sep. 4, with no contact until Aug. 20.
