With Bjorn Rebney’s departure from Bellator, there was no doubt that certain fighters would be more outspoken than others about the future of the promotion and their own careers. Among those expected to be most vocal was Mo Lawal, who had verbally exploded on Rebney both before and during the inaugural Bellator PPV.
Lawal felt that Rebney was in the tank for opponent Quinton Jackson, calling him a “d— rider” among other things.
