Tito Ortiz and Dana White have one of the most colorful pasts in MMA history. The two have been partners, friends, enemies and fight opponents (for a boxing match that fell through).
Ortiz recently got back into the win column, picking up an upset victory at the recent Bellator PPV debut and took a few pot shots at the UFC.
He was on Submission Radioand went into his relationship with White as of now, “He’s like a chick, man. He’s like a chick who has a crush, and will never leave me alone, or he’s trying to get me back. I don’t know, I just keep my mouth shut about him, and I just let him rant and rave about me. At least his talking about me. I guess I can thank him for that.”
He went on to say that he would like to mend their relationship eventually, “I would love that to happen, but I mean it’s, a big factor with Dana is just (that) his ego is too big for itself, and I can see right through it. I mean, you can be fake to a person and say “oh yeah, I’m all cool with him, everything’s squashed” but I mean, at the end of the day they’re trying to hurt you, and that will happen. And I dunno, maybe it’s my trust issues I have.”
Ortiz’s trust issues may be the final stopper in any improvements ever happening for the two, “I don’t trust people very well and I have just known him for so long, I can just see through the fakeness. You can just see it through the fake smile”
