Today’s HBO Boxing After Dark clash between Carl Froch and George Groves had an epic feel to it long before the two combatants stepped into the ring. In front of 80,000+ screaming fans in London’s famous Wembley Stadium, and coming off of one of the most controversial stoppage wins in recent years, Froch vs Groves II had that big fight feel.

Carl Froch didn’t need any help from the ref today. He came back from some early troubles against Groves to stop him with a big right hand up against the ropes in round 8.
Froch held on to his IBF and WBA Super Middleweight Championships.
