Alexander Gustafsson tells Jon Jones to stop delaying and sign bout agreement

Alexander Gustafsson’s rematch with Jon Jones is one of the more highly anticipated fights in the mixed martial arts world. The two first met at UFC 165 where Gustafsson gave Jones the hardest fight of his career, pushing the dominant light heavyweight champion to the point where some felt that the challenger deserved to walk away with the title.

Rather than an immediate rematch, Jones went on to dominate Glover Teixeira while Gustafsson effectively had a “stay busy” fight with Jimi Manuwa.

Now, the UFC has said the two will meet (and, seemingly the winner has Daniel Cormier in their next fight) to settle the score with a target of UFC 177 on August 30, 2014. Days have passed since the announcement and only Gustafsson has signed the bout agreement, leading to the challenger taking to Facebook to call out the champ.
