Saturday April 5, Bloody Elbow presents fight coverage of kickboxing event Legend 3. Legend Fighting Show 3 takes place this Saturday, April 5, live from Milan, Italy, with a fight time of 12:30 p.m. ET. As of right now, there is no legal live stream for the event, though it will be airing on some channels in Europe.
Legend has so far put on two shows that have featured some big names in kickboxing, and this third event is no different. The main event is a quality fight that sees K-1 MAX champion Murthel Groenhart taking on Dzhabar Askerov. Groenhart steps in here as a replacement for Artur Kysehnko, who had to bow out. Decorated veteran Andy Souwer is also in action here – he takes on Yuri Bessmertney in what could be an absolute show-stealer. One final dark hose for fight of the night sees Mo Khamnal take on Thai fighter Sitthichai. Thai fighters often struggle to bring their style outside of traditional Muay Thai rules, but when they do the results can be spectacular. Khamal is a tough as nails opponent, so if Sitthichai is on point, get excited for that one.
Finally, of particular note for MMA fans is the inclusion of former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Paul Daley. Daley has been more focused on kickboxing this year, and has had a nice measure of success lately. He takes on Alexander Surjko, a Muay Thai trained fighter who should make for a solid opponent for Semtex.
