NCAA Releases Brackets for 2014 Division I Wrestling Championship

They’re heeeeeere.

In case you missed it, one of the best days of the year came yesterday when the NCAA released the brackets for its Division I Wrestling Championships. We have posted them below. Study them, know them, love them. Marvel at the big honking shiny present with a huge bow and your name on it, placed just under the tree.

Bloody Elbow and SN Nation will provide full coverage for this event next week, including previews and commentary. Keep this in mind if you notice this post comes unaccompanied by any discussion of the draws. (I’ve also been busy writing up a preview for the Freestyle Wrestling World Cup, which will post tomorrow).

Also, be aware that almost inevitably the field in some of these weights will change in the coming days, leading to a redraw of the unseeded wrestlers, and a radical change in the bracket.

In case you cannot make out the tiny print of the brackets in this post, here is a link to the PDF version

The tournament starts next Thursday, March 20. You can watch all of the tournament live on ESPN, on your TV, or on line. I will miss the broadcast however, because I’m going to be watching the tournament from Oklahoma City in person.
