UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa medical suspensions: Five fighters potentially on the shelf

The medical suspensions are out for last weekend’s UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa card, and two fighters at the top of the card could potentially be out a while. Both Jimi Manuwa and Michael Johnson received 180-day suspensions, which can be cleared early with clearance from a doctor. Gunnar Nelson also received a long term, along with Brad Pickett and Brad Scott. Here’s a full list of the suspensions (via MixedMartialArts.com):

Phil Harris: 7 days mandatory rest period

Danny Mitchell: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact
Igor Araujo: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact

Claudio Da Silva: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact
Brad Scott: 180 days or MRI clearance of right shoulder

Mats Nilson: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact
Luke Barnatt: 7 days mandatory rest period

Ilir Latifi: 7 days mandatory rest period
Cyrille Diabate: 7 days mandatory rest period

Omari Akhmedov: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact
Gunnar Nelson: 180 days or MRI clearance of left knee

Brad Pickett: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contest, 180 days or MRI clearance of neck
Neil Seery: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact

Melvin Guillard: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact
Michael Johnson: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact, 180 days or X-ray clearance of left hand

Jimi Manuwa: 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact, 180 days or ortho. clearance of both thumbs, right finger
