$1,666.67 and $2025.31. Those are the amounts that Ronda Rousey and Daniel Cormier earned for each second they spent inside the Octagon on Saturday night.
Rousey defended her UFC women’s bantamweight title against Sara McMann in the main event, stopping the challenger with a knee to the liver 66-seconds into the fight. Cormier, fighting at light heavyweight for the first time in his career, took 79-seconds to dispatch Pat Cummins in the co-main event. Cormier ended his fight with a barrage of strikes on the ground.
For those that have no interest in doing the math, Rousey took home a disclosed payday of $110,000 while Cormier earned $160,000. Their opponents took home a lot less. McMann earned $16,000 in defeat, while Cummins received $8,000.
