The main event of tonight’s card was a bantamweight title fight between newly crowned undisputed champion Renan Barao and perennial contender Urijah Faber. In the co-main event Jose Aldo looked to earn a sixth consecutive defense of his featherweight title against Ricardo Lamas. Heavyweights Frank Mir and Alistair Overeem also appeared on the card trying to break their extended losing streaks.
