The big name in this fight is World Champion Mikey Garcia. After establishing his dominance in the Featherweight ranks, Garcia moved up to Super Featherweight last fall, defeating the tough Rocky Martinez in his debut for the division. The undefeated Garcia has slowly and steadily seen his stock rise, quietly putting together one of the best runs in boxing today. By the end of 2014, don’t be surprised to see him on the pound for pound top 10 list. But first, he needs to get by Juan Carlos Burgos. The impressive Burgos comes in here off of back to back split draws, though his draw to Rocky Martinez was, to any rational viewer, a clear Burgos victory. He’ll look to get back in the W column here, but will have his work cut out for him.
