Make sure to come back and share your thoughts in the comments as the action goes down.
Luis Palomino vs. Jorge Patino – Round 1 – They trade leg kicks to open the round. To the ground they go with Patino on top. Not much action and they end up getting stood back up. Palomino closed out the round with a big flurry that likely won the round. 10-9 Palomino.
Round 2 – Palomino lands some really big shots and now Patino is down. Palomino really pouring it on with some big shots and the ref calls a stop to the fight. Luis Palomino wins by TKO (strikes), round 2.
Cody Bollinger vs. Tyson Nam – Round 1 – Nam hurt Bollinger pretty badly in that later part of the round after pretty even action. Nam launched some big follow up shots but Bollinger survived and was fine by the end of the round. 10-9 Nam.
Round 2 – Bollinger through a weird attempt at a cartwheel kick and it was a lot of really even action. Bollinger shoots, Nam, sprawls and tags him with a had punch. Bollinger slips on a head kick, eats a punch on the ground but gets back up. Nam with a hard body kick at the end of the round. 10-9 Nam.
Round 3 – Nam with a really nice counter right hand. Bollinger just isn’t doing a ton here. Not as good of a fight as expected and not good for Bollinger who was being positioned as a title challenger. 10-9 Nam.
Official scorecards: 29-28 across the baord. Cody Bollinger wins by unanimous decision. I don’t get it…but okay.
Jessica Aguilar vs. Alida Gray – Round 1 – Aguilar with a takedown. She does some work and jumps to side control with an arm triangle and it’s over. Jessica Aguilar wins by submission (arm triangle choke), round 1.
Mike Kyle vs. Anthony Johnson – Round 1 – Both men throw some heavy strikes with only some leg kicks landing. Kyle shoots for a takedown and has Johnson pushed into the cage while he defends. Right hand by Johnson and Kyle crumbles to the mat face first. Johnson throws another punch at the back of his head while he’s on the ground but it’s already over. Anthony Johnson wins by KO (overhand right), round 1.
Justin Gaethje vs. Rich Patishnock – Round 1 – Gaethje comes out and they trade big shots before Patishnock drops. He gets back up, eats a knee and a nother big flurry and it’s over as the referee jumps in to safe Patishnock from any more damage. Justin Gaethje wins by TKO (punches), round 1.
