You might remember that Chris Weidman’s last fight prior to becoming UFC Middleweight champion was on Fuel TV on a Wednesday afternoon in San Jose, CA. Or maybe you don’t because hardly anyone ever actually watched Fuel TV. That’s why the UFC has released the complete video of his main event fight against Mark Munoz. Weidman had come in having won his previous 4 bouts in the UFC, including a late-notice win over Demian Maia at UFC on Fox 2. Munoz had stopped Chris Leben in the main event of UFC 138, and had his own big win against Maia at UFC 131.

The betting lines opened with Weidman as the slight favorite and closed with Weidman in the -150 range and Munoz as low as +142. It was expected to be a closely contested battle between two divisional contenders. Instead, it was one of the most lopsided five round fights in the history of the UFC. According to FightMetric, Munoz was credited with 1 total strike and 0 significant ones. He had his guard passes 5 times. Weidman also had 2 submission attempts on him and took him down on both of his attempts.

It’s been well over a year since this beating occurred, but here’s your chance for a full viewing of Weidman’s dominance. Set aside some time to yourself to watch this, as the clip lasts 6 hours solely because of Josh Rosenthal’s refusal to stop the fight in the 2nd round.

Weidman fights Anderson Silva at UFC 168 this weekend in a highly anticipated title rematch.
