Main Card:
Georgi Karakhanyan submits (guillotine choke) Lance Palmer 4:40 of round 3
Karakhanyan took control early keeping Palmer on his back foot with a rangy kick game. Palmer hit Georgi with an eye poke that brought in the ringside physician but didn’t force the stoppage. Palmer had more success in the second round with a couple of takedowns, but wound up defending submission attempts and was unable to mount much offense of his own. The third round started off as all Palmer. He struggled for a bit to hit the takedown, but once he got it he worked Kharakanyan from back mount. Unable to get the submission. Georgi caught Palmer in a guillotine choke that forced Palmer to submit.
Jesse Taylor vs. Elvis Mutapcic
Taylor rushed in for a takedown almost as soon as the bell rang. He got Mutapcic down quickly and punished him from top position throughout the first round. He cut Elvis open and threatened with a couple of submissions but couldn’t get the finish. After that, the fight slowed down into a grinding affair. Taylor got takedowns in both of the second and third rounds and rode his way to a unanimous decision.
Nick Newell submits (guillotine) Sabah Fadai at 1:21 of round 1
One-armed fighter Newell got to work very quickly. After only a little work striking at range, he shot in for the takedown. He caught the leg, but had difficulty getting Fadai down. Once he finally did, he caught him with a guillotine choke that had Fadai tapping.
Kalib Starnes KOs Dwayne Lewis at 1:02 of round 2
An all-striking affair saw Lewis and Starnes trading through the first round. Lewis landed some nice kicks to the body while Starnes pressured and taunted after each strike that landed on him. In the second round, Lewis looked good right after the bell, landing kicks on Starnes who wasn’t returning any of the blows. Then Starnes came forward, pressured Lewis against the cage and landed an elbow to the temple that dropped Lewis straight to the mat.
